Experience has shown that meditating enables people to get more out of each day. We recommend that you meditate on your breath for about ten minutes daily - for your convenience, we include instructions on a breath meditation technique that we have found to be very effective.We use breath meditation as an introduction to the practice of meditation. From here you can progress to our Transformational Mantra program, and then if you wish, to our advanced meditation on Core Energy
Wear comfortable, loose clothing, so that movement is not restricted.
Sit either on the floor, or in a comfortable upright chair with your lumbar region supported adequately.
- Place your hand, palm facing downwards on your tummy, gently breath in and feel your hand being pushed outwards as your intake of air fills your diaphragm
- Exhale slowly at the same easy, natural pace
- Focus your attention on the flow of the breath in through your nose, down into your lungs and out again. Continue to breathe easily and deeply
- If your attention should wander away from the breath, just gently bring it back
We recommend you decide before you begin how long you will meditate for and then stick to it. Ten minutes daily should be a good starting point and then can increase it slowly, day by day, as you feel more comfortable.
